Yes there was more too it. He was also probably taken out of context, but same thing with Michelle Obama. He could use this as an opportunity to highlight that she did not mean that as much as he did not. It won't happen, possibly because media coverage has been nil. Hence no pressure to address the statement. It is the same thing though, so John next time you and your wife decide to go after Michelle about her misquote, remember your little slip-up.
