We Should Vote On The Bailout

If it is our tax money they are going to give away. Then I say we the people (whose money it is) should be the ones to vote on it. Let us decide where our money goes. It might be historical, but so is the amount of money and what they are proposing.

The reason they "need" it passed so quickly is because the longer it takes the more of a chance the people have to hear about it. The more we hear about it, the more public opinion is formed and congressman are called. They need this passed quickly because if we are given a chance to form an opinion, it won't pass or at least how it was first drafted.

That to me is sickening. Pass it before they have a chance to hear about it. Well I hope everyone is letting their elected official know just what they think about this bail out.

I say we get the vote.
