Just another way this war is affecting us. If they are acting like this over here, what do you think they were doing and saw over there?

I support our troops but I personally know cases and soldiers who have gone way too far. Some can be attributed to the soldiers themselves, a lot can be attributed to leadership and political entities intruding in the scope of our soldiers work. The commands for brutal treatment has come from high up, the troops are following orders, and while most troops will hate it. Some will enjoy it and continue. The Bush Administration has created an environment of Brutality and our troops and Country as a whole are getting sucked into it.

You can see this in another way by looking at the recent attack ads against Obama and Democrats by Republicans. Brutality whether through ads, rumors, actions or speech is rampant. This is a huge problem and the only way it will stop is if the American people stand up and say,

This is not what our Country is about...

So this is what Republicans think about Free Speech. Using Chemical Agents and Projectiles against the people. The people who even CNN says were peaceful. Police stepping in front of people trying to flee spraying them with pepper spray. This is what the Republicans have to offer our Country. Republicans hate dissent and will use more force than needed to crack down on it. Almost like the evil Governments they rail about constantly.
