With Brian Williams and Charles Gibson no less. Ok she was talking about them getting hot dogs together on Tuesdays, But it was funny to hear her say Tube-Steaks on National TV. Not to mention the look and swivel that Brian Williams did when she said it. Great TV. If I can find video I will post it, but I have found nothing so far. It was on Larry King by the way if you didn't catch the title.
Update : Still no video but i have found a transcript...
GIBSON: By the way, but...
KING: All right, the Beijing Olympics.
Go ahead.
GIBSON: By the way, Larry...
KING: Yes?
GIBSON: You mentioned at the beginning it takes something exceptional to get us together.
KING: Yes.
GIBSON: We get together for hot dogs, you know, on a Tuesday afternoon.
(CROSSTALK)
KING: Where, on the streets?
GIBSON: It's nothing exceptional.
KING: On the streets? Sabretts? On the corner?
GIBSON: Sure.
COURIC: Yes.
GIBSON: Gray's Papaya in the (INAUDIBLE).
WILLIAMS: 79th and The Park.
COURIC: Tube steaks (ph) (INAUDIBLE).
KING: The Beijing Olympics, who's going?
What do the anchors think of the president going?
We'll ask right after this.
Update 2 : Now I have Video. Watch Brian Williams after she says it, Classic...

The Countdown Recap,
the surge,
unprecedented

When I say rewrites history I mean literally rewriting what has already happened. This and more great stuff in today's Countdown Recap. We have Obama in an impressive speech in Berlin. Also an excerpt of a Brian Williams interview with him right after, and I got to tell you it's great it's unscripted and it really shows how genuine he really is.
I guarantee anyone with any doubts about what his intentions are will or should be able to put them to rest by watching this. There is no wild blinking and awkward cackles like you see with John McCain, like a puppy waiting to see if hes done good. Instead today you saw a passion an unblinking, unwavering, confident discussion with the World on how we can all come together. It was unprecedented for a candidate of any type.
It is impressive I can tell you that. Sadly John McCain is breaking down. Slandering Obama in a sad attempt to get some attention. Saying he(Obama) would rather lose a war and risk our country's safety, than lose an election. Pretty much calling him a traitor. This from the man who promised no negative campaigning. He is pretty much starting out going as low as you can go. Well there is lots of other good stuff too, it's a good one...
Obama In Berlin, Brian Williams Interview.
Obama responds to McCains slander
McCain attempts to rewrite how the Surge started.
Duncan Hunter wants to shoot (himself) the endangered Wildabeast in Africa, and feed them to natives.
Robert Novak hits old man and leaves in his corvette.
Bushed! FEMA wants immunity, State Dept. tells employees in Germany they can't go to Obama speech.

Today was the first Meet The Press since Tim's passing. To my surprise Brian Williams is sitting in. Nothing against Brian Williams, I think he is a great guy and all, But I don't think he is the right fit to be the replacement. I just don't see him asking the hard tough questions that need to be asked. In fact I have seen him pass on the tough questions that need to be asked. This I hope is not the choice. Like I said before I think Chuck Todd is really the only viable choice. You need an unknown who will not be worried about making long standing connections angry with tough questions, which is precisely the type of questions that need to be asked on Meet The Press. I just don't think that Brian Williams has what it takes for this spot. He is a great anchor but I just don't see him as the Host for Meet The Press.
Update : Lindsay Graham is a Jackass...
Update2 : Oh man Joe Biden made Lindsey Graham look like the Jackass he is. Totally shut him down. Some transcripts and video Here
Here is another video I found. The Crooks & Liars Piece above is also worth a look.
