John McCain will seek to capitalize on hurricane Gustav, and hold his nomination acceptance speech in the Gulf States. I guess by accepting his party's nomination in the hurricane zone he will be showing people he cares about them. Or seems to be the logic of his campaign. I look at it as using a tragedy for political purposes. Way to go John, your a real uhh, good guy?
If you truly cared you would hold off until next week or after cleanup has started. But that wouldn't have the impact you need would it. It would be a much bigger spectacle if you accepted in a disaster area. While you try and show how you care, and are there for the people.
So yes a spectacle it will be, Good for the People ?

i agree with you wholeheartedly. Its refreshing to see someone else sees the real motivation for them not showing up in supposed force. People like yourself must continue to bring the fight to them and you must challange every attempt from the ignorant on the right to distort the truth.
