THIS WOMAN HAD NO BUSINESS OWNING A CHIMP IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY DESERVE TO BE IN THE WILD OR IN A LARGE ZOO WHERE THEY HAVE PLENTY OF ROOM TO ROAM AROUND.
I FEEL BAD FOR THE LADY WHO WAS MAULED BUT SHE CAN BLAME HER FRIEND FOR BEING SO STUPID AS TO HAVE A CHIMP IN THE FIRST PLACE. I ALSO FEEL BAD THAT THE CHIMP HAD TO LOSE HIS LIFE BECAUSE OF HER IGNORANCE. HOPEFULLY SHE WILL NEVER FORGET HOW SHE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR A MAULING AND A DEATH.
i completely agree with the previous post...right down to the guilt that the woman should feel for the mauling and the death. i must add that the friend was also foolish for EVER going to her friend's house over the 14 years that she had the chimp there. what is the appeal with having wild animals as domesticated pets. i don't get it either.
Well, I feel very sorry for the woman that was mauled. She lost both of her eyes because of it. I also believe that wild animals do not belong in homes.
I was listening to 102.1 the edge and the announcer's were talking about the attack on the lady!! I couldn't believe how they were laughing about the situation!! They were talking about how Oprah was bringing up the fact that she was trying to get Charla to talk about the incident (to actually relive the horrific accident!!} They shouldn't talk!!!! I thought that was soooo awful and uncalled for!!!
