‘Era of big government’ back, Republican says

I like how Republicans think Big Government is spending the Americans Tax money On Americans. When they are truly the Holders of Big Government, their big Government is taking away peoples rights, forcing a single religion on its people, spying on its people "for the greater good", spending insane amounts on defense etc. That is Big Government and that is the Republican Government. The Patriot Act? Warrantless Spying? Rendition? That's the Big Government you should be scared of and that's exactly the type of Government Republicans want. Where they tell you who to pray to, what to watch and listen to, what you can do with your body, the medical care you can get, what you can say, who you get your news from, what news you do get and I could go on. Republican Government is about controlling people. Just look at what they say do and who supports them. They try and say Democrats want Big Government because they prefer spending tax money on services that help people. I don't consider that Big Government, I consider doing what that peoples money is for, running Government and giving back to the people. So Republicans are trying to pull one over on everyone because their version of Government is true Big Government just look at what Bush did. Did that seem like small Government to you? We invaded 2 countries to bring our way of life to them and squandered many of our civil rights at the same time. Truth is we are coming out of the era of Big Government.
